研討會系列一：香港電台的命運與新聞自由
『公共專業聯盟』是一個由來自不同界別的專業人士與及選舉委員組成，以中介人的角色，催化變革，推動優良管治。其下的『傳媒與新聞自由』專題工作組，關注傳媒及相關範疇，捍衛香港社會核心價值。
近日社會上有關【公共廣播服務檢討諮詢】與【香港電台的命運】等議題討論，必對香港的媒體和新聞自由造成深遠的影響。因此，聯盟的『傳媒與新聞自由』專題工作組將在近期召開兩個相關的研討會，主題如下：

Forum No. 1 – The Fate of RTHK and Press Freedom
The Professional Commons is formed by professionals from various sectors who share a vision to build an agent for change and good governance. The Issue Task Group #2 (ITAG2) on “Media and Press Freedom is focused on the future of media and press freedom in Hong Kong, and other issues critical to the defense of Hong Kong’s core values.
The recent discussions on the consultation of public service broadcasting and the future fate of Radio Television Hong Kong will definitely have serious and long-term impact on media and press freedom in Hong Kong. The ITAG2 of The Professional Commons will hence organize two related forums in the near future, as follows:
